Databases was a very large and long unit which went on for the whole year. We started by creating a presentation which you can see below. This covered two databases and how they were both similar and different to each other.
After we learned about how databases are used we then went on to develop our own based on a scenario of a DVD shop. Designing the database was a long process but worth it as when we came to build it then it was quite straightforward.
We then tested and evaluated our database. Although this unit was hard it gave me a real insight in to the way that organisations use databases.
